Reveal. Refine. Love your home.
Interior consulting, styling and home transformation for Sydney homeowners who want clarity about what to keep, what to change and where to invest.
Our surroundings affect how we feel. Home is where we reset from the outside world. It’s where we go to unwind and feel grounded.
When a space feels cluttered or visually noisy, it’s hard to switch off. When it feels calm and considered, it becomes easier to settle, refresh and simply breathe.
Good design isn’t about creating a perfect home. It’s about creating one that supports the way you live.
Home should feel like somewhere you can exhale.
Whatever stage your home is in, start with clarity.
Whether you're improving the home you already live in, settling into a new property or preparing to sell, the strongest results begin with understanding what the home needs and what it doesn’t.
Improving the home you live in
You may already own pieces worth keeping, but the rooms still feel unresolved. We help you decide what to refine, what to remove and where thoughtful changes will make the greatest difference. A room by room approach works well, or we can style as a whole home project.
Making a new home feel like yours
Moving brings a whole new set of decisions - what comes with you, what no longer works, and what your new space needs to feel considered and cohesive.
We help create a clear direction from the beginning, making it easier to decide what to keep, what to change, and what may be needed to bring everything together. We can work with you one room at a time, or create a cohesive plan for your entire home.
Preparing your home for sale
Trying to work out what you need to do to get ready for sale can be tough. We identify what should be repaired, refreshed, bought or styled so the home presents strongly. Our service caters for those not necessarily needing a furniture staging company, but a fresh appeal.
Inside a Recent Project
From overlooked balcony to outdoor room…
Before
What had become a poorly used mix of gym equipment, storage and occasional seating was reimagined as a French Provincial-inspired balcony garden and second living space.
By working with existing furniture, introducing softer layers, repurposed pieces, planting and a clearer layout, the balcony became somewhere the client actually wanted to spend time.
After
A clear process from first ideas to final details.
01 Discover
We begin with the home. What's working, what isn't, what matters to you and what you're hoping to achieve.
02 Define
We turn those conversations into a clear direction, establishing priorities, style and the decisions that will guide the project.
03 Source
Where required, we find the furniture, finishes, lighting and details that bring the direction to life.
04 Coordinate
***For more involved projects, suppliers, trades and selections are kept aligned with the project.
05 Refine
***The final elements are brought together, adjusted and edited so the home feels cohesive, comfortable and complete.
A creative eye, grounded in practical decisions.
I’m Lisa, founder of The Inside Stylist.
My background across photography, interior design and property styling has shaped the way I see a home, not as a collection of individual pieces, but as a complete composition of light, scale, colour, furniture, architecture and the way people actually live.
I believe good design isn’t always about replacing more things. Often it’s about recognising what already has value, understanding what feels unresolved and making better decisions around it.
Our surroundings affect how we feel. Our home is “Home base” Its where we go to reset and feel safe. When a home feels noisy, it can be harder to switch off. When it feels cohesive, it becomes easier to refresh and just breathe.
That belief sits at the heart of The Inside Stylist. My aim is to create spaces that feel cohesive and beautiful, but also grounded and supportive of everyday life.
You don't need to know exactly which service you need. Tell me about the home, what isn't working and what you're hoping to achieve, and we'll work out the most useful place to begin.
